ACADEMY GUIDELINES
PAYMENT OF FEES
A non-refundable registration fee and a refundable deposit will be collected from all students signing up for lessons. Fees are collected every term, and each term consists of 2 months. Fees are due on the 1st of every term. Fees are payable throughout the year, inclusive of Juzmusic Academy’s studio holidays and public holidays. A $20 late fee will be imposed for late payments after the due date. The Academy reserves the right to suspend any student if full payment is not made on time. Payment can be made via: Paynow/Paylah/Bank Transfer. All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
HOLIDAYS
There will be a total of 4 lessons in a month. (Refer to Juzmusic Academy’s calendar). No lesson(s) will be conducted during public holidays.
MAKEUP LESSONS
If a student is absent due to illness, a valid MC is needed for a replacement of make-up class. For any postpone of lesson, the student will need to inform the counter at least 2 days in advance. Once a make-up lesson is arranged and confirmed, the lesson cannot be cancelled, otherwise the lesson will be forfeited, unless accompanied by a MC. Lessons cancelled by the teacher will be replaced. Alternatively, the Academy may arrange for a relief teacher to take over the lesson. Make-up lessons do not replace paid lessons and cannot extend the enrolment period beyond the withdrawal date. Make-up lessons are non-transferable and may only be used by the enrolled student, not by siblings, family members, or others.
WITHDRAWAL OF LESSONS
Students are required to submit a written withdrawal form available from the counter. Failure to provide the required notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Notifying the instructor or ceasing attendance does not constitute an official withdrawal. A minimum of 30 days’ notice prior to the start of a new term is required. The refundable deposit will be ready 30 days after the last lesson. Deposits not collected within 6 months from the withdrawal date will be forfeited.
There will be no refund for lesson fees or prepaid lesson packages under any circumstances.
PROPERTY DAMAGE
Studio use for music practice outside of scheduled lessons is not permitted unless a company employee is present or a paid session has been formally booked. This policy is in place to ensure student safety, proper use of facilities, and protection of studio equipment.
