Was your first Early Childhood class what you expected?

Was Your First Early Childhood Class What You Expected?

In Juzmusic Academy, this includes our Junior Discovery, Junior Playtime, Junior Musician for 0-6 years old.

  1. Fact

It usually takes about 3-4 lessons for a young child to adjust to a new class. Initially, many children spend their first lessons exploring the room. Consequently, they may seem unaware of the activities happening around them. Some might cling to their parents or caregivers, while others may cry or appear nervous. Indeed, these responses are very common in new situations.

  1. Integrating into the class

Children need time to adjust to the new environment, sights, sounds, and other students. Therefore, don’t worry if your child’s participation isn’t as expected. With patience, they will become more comfortable and confident.

  1. Repetition is important

Our lessons promote musical development and a love of learning. Repetition is crucial as it helps children understand new concepts and feel comfortable. Knowing what to expect makes them feel safe and secure.

  1. What to expect in the classes?

Our lessons are structured, which may be new for many children. However, we aim to make learning fun through play. Children learn through movement, listening, and musical games. Thus, we offer a variety of musical experiences.

Although young children may seem passive at first, they are absorbing everything around them. Moreover, these activities benefit you, the caregiver. By reinforcing what they learn at home, you will notice over time that your child can keep a steady beat or sing in pitch.

Our Junior Discovery and Junior Playtime classes for ages 0-4 focus on rhythm, pulse, pitch, and form. On the other hand, the Junior Musician class for ages 4-6 emphasizes instrumental skills. Additionally, all classes help develop social skills like sharing, taking turns, and working together.

  1. Feedback

Juzmusic welcomes feedback from the parents.  If you have any questions or comments about your class, please do not hesitate to speak to your teacher.
